The Pre-Requisites
Before filing your application, your solar installation must comply with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and local distribution utility standards. You cannot apply for net metering with a generic, uncertified "plug-and-play" DIY kit.
Step-by-Step Application Process
1. Secure Local Government Clearances
You must obtain a Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection (CFEI) from your city or municipal engineering office. This proves your solar setup is safe.
2. Submit Technical Documents to Your Electric Coop
Visit your local coop office (e.g., CASURECO II main office in Del Rosario, Naga City) and submit the following:
- Formal Net Metering Application Form
- Single-Line Diagram (SLD) signed and sealed by a Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE)
